About Us
Bill W's Sober Pack Motorcycle Club is a group of sober motorcyclists dedicated to God, AA principles, and a sober way of life with a spirit towards helping our community.

This is a list of some of the events that Bill W's Sober Pack M/C have held or participated in.  We generally welcome anyone to participate with us and enjoy the fun and fellowship that we have built as a club and a close-knit family over these years since our humble beginnings.

Aunt Lucille Run III
April 08,2006 12:00
Vice President Bones has blessed our club again with the sharing of his wonderful “Aunt Lucille”.  This past April 8th, BWSP rode, for the 3rd time, to Ventura to visit for the day.  No troubles, although we did lose our prospect, Froggy.  Fortunately for Froggy, we found him.
After a wonderful visit with 90-year-old Aunt Lucille, who shared with us that she is determined to stay alive until she gets a letter from the President of The United States for turning 100, we rode down the coast back home.
Everyone that has been on the “Aunt Lucille” runs have enjoyed her company and her hospitality (she always has a spread of sandwiches and peanut brittle for us…).
And we ALL look forward to Aunt Lucille IV.
Going Away Part / Barbecue for BWSP friend Tennessee
January 01,2006 12:00
Every now and then, a person comes along and blesses your existence as a human and becomes a true friend.  Tennessee, is DEFINITELY one of those people.  A dear friend of BWSP M/C.  He rode with us on many runs, supported our club and our events, and even attended A.A. meetings with us (even though he is not IN recovery).

Tennessee is a VERY talented guitar player and had a dream to pursue.  He dreams of using his God-given talent to become a professional musician.  He decided to move to Nashville , Tennessee in early February, so, with the help of his church, we were honored to send him off with a barbeque/party and our hopes of much success.

Although his friendship is missed, we hope one day to be handed backstage passes when he performs at "The Pond" in Anaheim , CA and be able to spend time with our friend again and witness him enjoying the blessings of his successful musical career.

I should have gotten his autograph before he left.
Vietnam Veterans- Traveling Wall Memorial
November 05,2005 00:00
On Saturday, November 5th, 2005, from 12:00 Midnight to 4:00 a.m., some of Bill W's Sober Pack M/C, and their friends, had the honor of standing watch at the Vietnam Vets Traveling Wall Memorial at Draper Mortuary in Ontario, CA.  Besides the honor of meeting several Veterans of the Vietnam War, our club was asked, and respectfully committed to helping the coordinators of the event read off all 58,000 names in 40 hours.  Although there were minimal visitors during our stay, it was a VERY powerful event and our lives were blessed by the service that we were honored to be a part of.  Below are some of the moments from that experience.
One More From The Heart Run
November 01,2005 12:00
If you've never been a participant on the "One More From The Heart" Run, let me tell you, you've been missing out on something WONDERFUL.  This annual event benefits a VERY worthy cause, Totally Kids Specialty Healthcare. This hospital takes care of many children who, most of which, will never be able to live a "normal" life.  Most are children who have lost all motor skills due to brain damage of some sorts.  A lot of them are victims of accidental drowning.  During the event, you are invited to tour the facility and interact with the children (and sometimes, parents).  It is a run that leaves the biggest and roughest biker in tears of gratitude.
This run is on the same day as "The Love Ride", and, in the past 3 years that BWSP M/C has had the honor of supporting and being of service to, we have seen the run grow leaps and bounds in popularity.
And, best of all, EVERY dime that is raised, and EVERY gift that is donated, goes directly to Totally Kids.  Don't come expecting pins, t-shirts, vendors, music, etc.
BWSP M/C hopes to be of service to this very worthy cause and event for many years to come.
